Our BusinessLPI has assembled a group of optics professionals, a portfolio of Intellectual Property and a fabrication capability that allows us to design intelligent optics and efficient solutions and differentiates us from any other optics company. LPI has the most distinguished group of Nonimaging Optics scientists in the world. We have extensive experience in systems integration and can create novel solutions to solve old problems in innovative ways. Their new Advanced Defense Systems Group increases their ability to use this experience in imaging optics as well. Our staff has written the most definitive books in the field and has 50+ man-years’ experience in Concentrated Photovoltaics (CPV) solar and even more in SSLighting. Our proprietary design methods, including the Simultaneous Multiple Surface (SMS) method, are at the forefront of nonimaging optics design and have now been used also for imaging design. Additionally, LPI has an impressive patent portfolio and other Intellectual Property which allows our customers to be protected and to distinguish themselves in the marketplace.
