Our Facilities
LPI, LLC and its subsidiaries are prepared to answer the customer’s needs in North America, Europe or Asia. Whether the need can be answered by a generic optic in the field of Solid State Illumination or a customized solution in Concentrated Photovoltaics, LPI’s world-class design teams can apply their knowledge and experience seamlessly around the world. Expertise in specialty areas can be called upon from wherever the best team member for the task can contribute to the best solution.
Once the optical solution has been applied, LPI’s prototyping team can directly cut the resulting optic from the selected polymer or fabricate a soft mold and inject prototypical parts that can be photometrically measured to ascertain expected performance before beginning mass production.
If the customer so chooses, LPI Precision Optics can fabricate production tooling and vetted injection partners can produce the optical parts with LPI involvement up until the acceptance of the first article. In this way, LPI works as a one-stop resource for its customers’ needs.
LPI-Europe, S.L. (Design Center)LPI-Europe S.L.was founded in 2002 to further meet the technological innovations required by their clients and to provide a natural expansion in the European market. This strengthened the position of LPI as the vanguard in the design of advanced optical systems in the diverse industrial sectors related to illumination and solar energy CPV. The company has a team of engineering doctors who are specialists in optics. They contribute excellent experience in research and development as well as industrial design of imaging and non-imaging optical systems. LPI-Europe shares a close, collaborative relationship with various technological innovation and research centers, especially with the Polytechnical University of Madrid (UPM Spain). 
After Only 6 years of growth, LPI-Europe has extended its facilities and moved to the new CeDInt building of the Scientific and Technological Campus of Montegancedo (Madrid, Spain). At the same time, it has opened an office in Germany to better server its clients on the European continent. To provide all of these services, the company relies on many tools of design some of which they have themselves developed and patented. The company offers novel and competitive "turn key" solutions from concept to mass production adapted to the client needs ona a great variety of applications including optical collimators, light guides, color mixers, virtual filaments™, optical concentrators, condensers, integrators and projectors. The clients who work with LPI-Europe are leaders in the markets for illumination of automobiles, general illumination, special and professional illumination, signalling, optical systems of consumer goods and multimedia systems for projection and visualization.
