Research & Development
R&D is the basis of innovation. LPI's Optical team, including nine PhD's in the optical sciences, offers an opportunity to assure competitiveness and market distinction. For example, the following are some of the services offered by LPI to its customers and partners:
- Basic Research for Problem Solving: based on a vast experience in nonimaging and imaging optics, material science and in-house developed research tools
- Products Development: innovative and applied optical concepts to photonic architectures or materials
- Feasibility Studies
- State-of-the-art of optical concepts & market analysis
- System Characterization: photometric measurements to diagnose the performance of photonic devices, ranging from illuminators to solar concentrators
LPI is seen by many customers as their external R&D department, with the latest optical technology at their disposal, actively participating as a partner within their projects and giving innovative and competitive support and solutions.
LPI continuously participates in various research and development programs related to non-imaging and imaging optics that have been subsidized by governments, prestigious institutions, partners and customers.
