LPI offers its own technologies for the best utilization of existing illumination infrastructures and, at the same time, introduces novel concepts for the solid state lighting solutions.

LPI has developed a large family of optics for general Solid State Lighting (SSL) for Indoor and Outdoor applications. These optics are designed using the most advanced design methods in Nonimaging Optics. Such methods, like the SMS (Simultaneous Multiple Surfaces) method of design, are LPI proprietary, guaranteeing very high efficiency and exclusivity..

One of the most novel optical devices are called "Virtual Filaments™”, which can be applied in SSL bulb replacement concepts. These devices combine the familiar familiar look of incandescent bulbs with the high luminous efficacy and longevity of LEDs and are totally adaptable to existing lighting infrastructures. Other LPI novel General Illumination optics like RBG  mixing optics, LOA device, LED collimating optics such as Photon Funnel, UFOs, UFOs, and RXI™ lenses are shown below:
