Strong Policy makes a strong company

Upon receipt of the customer's request, technical specifications are reviewed in detail with LPI personnel and a Statement of Requirements (SOR) is defined before launching the project.  LPI’s experienced team of optical scientists will be matched to the task and the most experienced members in the area of technology applicable to the task will be culled to work on the project and make a proposal, including a Statement of Work (SOW).  Progress reports will be provided on a timely basis and a final report of the proposed design/s, together with the corresponding CAD files will be discussed with the customer.

Our Designs at work If it is requested, the project proposal can also include the prototyping quotation which would include tooling, a number of samples and function-proving lab tests within LPI.  These design and prototyping phases are managed internally in the LPI group.  Therefore, confidentiality is preserved, the customer maintains the same project leader during all phases of the project, and the liaison with the customer’s technical team can thereby guarantee that the final manufactured product is sure to perform.

Prototyping is achieved via direct cut or molding. LPI has state-of-the-art, 5-axes diamond turning equipment to achieve complex free-form shapes at the highest accuracy and surface quality levels achievable.  Plastic-injection and glass molding are achieved by working closely with strategic partners expert in these fields.
